Houston Birthing Connection (HBC) supports teen parents and young families in Houston who face homelessness, food insecurity, and barriers to education and employment. The Adopt a Family for the Holidays campaign provides families with shelter, nourishment, and training to build safe, independent futures.

Maria’s Story: A Journey From Homelessness to Hope

Maria, 17, found herself alone with a newborn and no support. Through HBC’s Adopt a Family program, she received shelter, meals, and job training — giving her the tools to rebuild her life.
