LaunchPoint, in partnership with Houston Birthing Connection, provides free workforce training, CNA certification programs, life skills workshops, and counseling for teen parents and young adults. Family members, mentors, and counselors can refer youth for support.

How LaunchPoint Empowers Houston Teen Parents

LaunchPoint, a free program through Houston Birthing Connection (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit), helps teen parents and young adults in Houston:

  • Gain free workforce training including CNA certification, life skills, and job readiness

  • Receive counseling and support for substance use or mental health challenges

  • Access guidance for survivors of abuse or domestic challenges

  • Participate in career mentorship and individualized planning

LaunchPoint Training Programs Include:
