Housing Help for Pregnant and Parenting Teens in Houston, TX

Safe Homes, Strong Families, Brighter Futures

Houston Birthing Connection provides housing and stability support for pregnant and parenting teens in the Houston area. Programs are designed to help young families work toward safe living environments, continue their education, and build long-term stability.

Supporting Teen Parents Through Housing Stability

From Empty Apartment to a True Home — All furniture is provided free through our 501(c)(3) nonprofit programs.

Families moving out of shelters or transitional housing often face empty apartments. HBC’s Shelter to Stability Furniture Assistance Program bridges the gap between “having keys” and “having a home,” providing essential furniture and household items to ensure a safe and nurturing environment.

What We Provide:

Core Furniture Package:​

  • Bed frame and mattress

  • Dresser or storage unit

  • Sofa or loveseat

  • Dining table with chairs

Optional Add-Ons (based on availability):

  • Crib or toddler bed

  • Desk or study table

  • Lamps and small household items

All furniture is provided at no cost and is not resold.
