Houston Birthing Connection is launching its inaugural Stability Fleet—a sustainable transportation program designed to ensure expectant and postpartum mothers never miss critical healthcare, employment, or support services due to lack of reliable transportation.
This initiative goes beyond helping one family. It creates a long-term system of support that serves multiple families at the same time—today and for years to come.
The Challenge: Transportation Is a Healthcare Barrier

For many of the mothers we serve, getting to prenatal visits, postpartum checkups, or job training can mean choosing between unsafe rides, unreliable public transport, or missing care altogether.
Our Solution: The Stability Fleet
The HBC Stability Fleet is a dedicated set of reliable vehicles that mothers can borrow to attend:

To launch this program, we are seeking 3–5 donated vehicles to establish a functional fleet that allows us to serve multiple families at once while maintaining flexibility for maintenance and scheduling.
